About Me

Hi, I’m Nicoline Andrea Janka, a musician, sound designer, artist and performer based in Lucerne, with roots in Graubünden. My practice unfolds at the intersection of live performance, electronic music, sound art and digital creation.

My work moves between composition, electronic music, sound design, game audio, code-based music, sound synthesis and performance. I am currently completing my Master’s in Music and Digital Creation at HSLU, where I explore creative technologies such as Python, Raspberry Pi, Max/MSP, Ableton and Reaper in artistic and experimental contexts.

As a vocalist and synthesizer player, I perform with AANIM and kim.a. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Movement and work as a teacher of singing and computer music. I also contribute to cultural management for Sprungfeder and Werft, Das Probehaus. In parallel, I support social media and video work in cultural and musical settings, bringing together artistic practice, communication and community-building.
